PROPERTIES

It is the white powder, soluble in water.Making the solution alkali and erosive in nature. It can be dissolved in absolute ethyl alcohol but not in propanol, and can be neutrally reacted with acid to generate relevant salt and release carbon dioxide.

USES

It can be applicable to light industry, construction material, chemicals, cleaners and scours. In metallurgy, it can be used as the fusing agent for smelting, floating agent for mine selection, desulfurizer for steel and antimony smelting and water - softerning aent for dyeing printing, applicable to degreasing neutral chrome leather in the tannery industry to improve the alkali degree of the chrome liquor, and to synthetic detergent additive tripolyphosphate and other sodium polyphosphate.
